Catron County records do not sit in one office or database. Local sheriff files begin in Reserve, criminal cases run through New Mexico courts, personal statewide arrest histories come from the New Mexico Department of Public Safety, and state custody records belong to the New Mexico Corrections Department. Registry information uses the New Mexico DPS Sex Offender Registry and OffenderWatch. This privately run reference site organizes those separate paths so a reader can identify the government custodian, official portal, or direct request channel that fits the record being sought.

Why We Built This Site

Finding a Catron County criminal record often means sorting out which agency created and still holds it. The Catron County Sheriff’s Office keeps its own incident, arrest, booking, warrant-execution, and registration records. New Mexico courts maintain filed charges, hearings, dispositions, judgments, and sentences. The New Mexico Department of Public Safety, Law Enforcement Records Bureau operates the State Central Repository for Criminal History, but it does not offer an unrestricted public name search.
